Women's Watches

Our women’s moissanite watches are gem-set timepieces sized for a slimmer wrist, in stainless steel, gold-tone and rose finishes. Each is set with moissanite or cubic zirconia, and every listing names the stone and the movement, and the case size wherever the maker publishes it, so the watch that arrives is the one you chose.

Browse by character — dress, bracelet or statement — or by display, analog or digital. Many pieces belong to more than one.

Choosing a women's gem-set watch

Consider first where it will be worn. A stone-set bezel on a slim case moves easily from a morning meeting to a dinner reservation; a fully set watch is made for the evening, the wedding, the anniversary. Then consider the metal you wear most — a watch should agree with your rings, not compete with them.

Dress, bracelet or statement?

  • Dress watches are slim cases on leather or fine mesh, with the setting kept to the bezel or the dial. See women's dress watches.
  • Bracelet watches make the bracelet the design — a bangle, a chain or a sculpted link that could be worn on its own. See women's bracelet watches.
  • Statement watches are set edge to edge, for the occasions that call for light. See women's statement watches.

Sizing for a slimmer wrist

Most women wear a case between 26 and 36 mm. A wrist under 15 cm (6 in) suits 26 to 32 mm; a wrist between 15 and 17 cm suits 32 to 36 mm; a larger wrist carries 36 to 38 mm, or an oversized case, with ease. A gem-set bezel makes any case look larger, so when in doubt, choose the smaller. The case size guide explains how to measure.

Steel, gold-tone and rose: the finishes, stated plainly

Our cases and bracelets are stainless steel. Gold-tone and rose-tone pieces carry a colored finish over that steel; they are not made of gold, and we price them accordingly. Each listing states the finish, and the stones are named with the same care: moissanite or cubic zirconia, never diamond. Common questions

Are the stones diamonds?

No. Every watch is set with moissanite or cubic zirconia, and each listing names which. Moissanite is a lab-grown gemstone, harder than sapphire and with more fire than diamond; cubic zirconia is a bright, crisp lab-made stone. We never describe either as diamond.

What case size suits a smaller wrist?

For a wrist under 15 cm (6 in), 26 to 32 mm; between 15 and 17 cm, 32 to 36 mm. A gem-set bezel wears larger than its diameter, so if you are between two sizes, choose the smaller.

Is gold-tone the same as gold?

No. Gold-tone and rose-tone pieces are stainless steel with a colored finish, and each listing states the finish. We describe and price them as exactly what they are.

How do I care for a gem-set watch?

Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing, keep it away from perfume, lotion and chlorine, and store it apart from other jewelry so neither the stones nor the finish are scratched. Take it off before swimming or showering, whatever its water rating.
