Men's Dress Watches

Our men’s dress watches are slim, understated timepieces with restrained moissanite setting — a stone-set bezel or gem-set indices on a clean dial — usually worn on leather. They are made to sit beneath a shirt cuff through the working day and to catch the light only when the evening asks for it.

What makes a dress watch

Proportion before ornament. A dress watch keeps a modest case, a slim profile and a dial you can read at a glance, so it slides beneath a cuff without catching. On a gem-set dress watch the setting is disciplined: it frames the dial rather than covering it. A fully set case on a leather strap can be both a dress watch and a statement, and you will find those pieces in both collections.

Wearing it well

Match the strap to your shoes and belt, the case to your cufflinks, and let the watch be the only piece on that wrist. For fit, our case size guide explains how a dress watch should sit.

Common questions

What makes a watch a dress watch?

A slim, understated case, a legible dial and, traditionally, a leather strap: a watch that sits beneath a shirt cuff and does not compete with the rest of what you are wearing.

Can a gem-set watch be a dress watch?

Yes, when the setting is restrained — a stone-set bezel or gem-set indices on a clean dial. A fully set watch on leather belongs to both our dress and statement collections.

Leather strap or bracelet with a suit?

Leather is the traditional choice and always correct; a slim metal bracelet is equally at home in a modern business wardrobe. Match the leather to your shoes and the metal to your cufflinks.
