Women's Analog Watches

Our women’s analog watches tell the time with hands and indices on a dial, the classical way, set with moissanite or cubic zirconia on the bezel, the dial or the whole case. They run on automatic or quartz calibres, and every listing names the movement, and the crystal and case size wherever the maker publishes them.

The classical dial

Hands for the hours and minutes, and indices in place of numerals: the analog dial is the one watchmaking has refined for centuries. On a gem-set dial the indices are often stones, so the hours are marked in light while the hands stay clear above them.

Automatic or quartz

An automatic winds itself as you wear it, its seconds hand sweeping; a quartz watch runs on a battery and is ready whenever you are. Each listing names the movement inside.

Common questions

Analog or digital?

An analog watch shows the time with hands on a dial; a digital watch shows numerals on a display. Analog is the traditional choice for dress and statement pieces.

Automatic or quartz?

An automatic winds itself from the motion of your wrist and needs no battery; a quartz watch runs on a battery and is typically the more accurate. Each listing names its movement.

Does a gem-set dial affect legibility?

A well-set dial stays legible: the hands sit above the stones and contrast against them. If legibility matters most, choose a dial with stone indices on a plain ground rather than a fully set dial.
