Effective date: August 11, 2026
This policy lists the cookies and similar technologies Tik Tok Bling uses on tiktokbling.com, what each one does, and how long it lasts. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal information generally.
The short version
- Cookies that keep your cart and your session working are always on — the store cannot function without them.
- Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you accept them in our banner.
- You can change your mind at any time, and we honor Global Privacy Control automatically.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site recognise your browser on the next page or the next visit — which is how your shopping cart survives a click. We also use closely related technologies such as browser local storage and tracking pixels; where this policy says "cookie", it means all of them.
A first-party cookie is set by tiktokbling.com. A third-party cookie is set by another company whose code runs on our page — for us, that means Google.
The four categories
Our consent banner groups everything into four categories. You can accept or reject each one independently, except the first, which cannot be switched off.
1. Functional — always active
Strictly necessary to deliver the store. These are set whether or not you interact with the banner, because without them you could not add an item to a cart, check out, or have your consent choice remembered.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
woocommerce_cart_hash | tiktokbling.com | Tells the store your cart contents have changed so totals recalculate. | Session |
woocommerce_items_in_cart | tiktokbling.com | Tells the store whether your cart has anything in it. | Session |
wp_woocommerce_session_* | tiktokbling.com | Links your browser to your cart and checkout data on our server. | 2 days |
cmplz_banner-status | tiktokbling.com | Remembers that you have answered the consent banner, so it stops reappearing. | 365 days |
cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing | tiktokbling.com | Record which categories you accepted or rejected. This is the record of your consent. | 365 days |
cmplz_policy_id | tiktokbling.com | Records which version of this policy you consented to, so we can re-ask if it materially changes. | 365 days |
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* | tiktokbling.com | Only set if you log in to an account. Keeps you signed in. | Session, or 14 days if you choose “remember me” |
2. Preferences
Remember a choice you made so the site does not ask again.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
mailpoet_form_popup_* | tiktokbling.com | Remembers that you closed or completed our 15%-off signup popup, so it does not show again on every page. | 7 days |
wp-settings-* | tiktokbling.com | Only set for logged-in administrators. Remembers admin screen preferences. | 1 year |
3. Statistics — off until you accept
Tell us how the store is used, so we can improve it. Set only after you accept statistics cookies.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes one visitor from another for Google Analytics 4. | 2 years | |
_ga_* | Keeps Google Analytics 4 session state. | 2 years |
We have Google Signals enabled. For visitors signed in to a Google account with Ads Personalization on, Google may link this activity to that account for cross-device reporting and audience building. Analytics data is processed by Google as an independent controller.
4. Marketing — off until you accept
Measure our advertising and let us reach people who have shown interest. Set only after you accept marketing cookies.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | Records that you arrived from a Google ad, so a later purchase can be attributed to it. | 90 days | |
_gcl_aw, _gcl_dc | Google Ads click identifiers used for conversion measurement. | 90 days |
We do not currently run the Meta Pixel or the Meta Conversions API, so no Meta or Facebook cookies are set on this site. If that changes we will update this page before it starts collecting anything, and it will sit in this category behind the same consent.
Google Consent Mode
Our Google tags run in Consent Mode. Before you make a choice, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied for every visitor, wherever they are — Google’s tags receive only cookieless signals until you accept. When you accept, that denial is upgraded and normal measurement begins.
Changing your mind
Use the control below to reopen your preferences and change any category at any time. Your new choice takes effect immediately, and cookies from a category you switch off are cleared.
You can also use the Cookie settings link in our footer on any page.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it automatically. We treat it as a rejection of statistics and marketing cookies for that browser — you do not need to touch the banner. GPC is built into some browsers and available as an extension for others; see globalprivacycontrol.org.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Independently of our banner, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings, usually under Privacy. Blocking all cookies will break the cart and checkout, because the functional cookies above are what make them work. Deleting our consent cookies makes the banner ask again on your next visit.
Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever we add, remove or change a technology that sets cookies. Where a change materially affects what you agreed to, our banner will ask you again rather than assume your previous answer still applies. This version took effect on August 11, 2026.
