Gold-tone cases and bands are plated over steel or alloy, and with reasonable care the finish holds up well. Keep the watch dry, take it off before swimming or showering, and wipe it down after heavy sweat, since moisture and chemicals wear plating fastest. If the finish fails within 12 months of delivery, we will replace the watch under warranty.
